Less Admin, More Dog
Let us to do the boring stuff so you can do the fun stuff.
Here's the thing. We love dogs... AND we love business administration. No, seriously, we do. We are the kind of people who get energized by a really great spreadsheet or a dialed-in database. Allow us to manage things like marketing, client acquisition, client onboarding, client communication, scheduling, invoicing, and more.
Get out from behind the computer and get on the trail.
Be your own boss. But, like, actually.
Many independent contractors in our country are actually misclassified employees who manage the cost of personal employment taxes while still being held to employee restrictions. Dog Adventures Northwest is a general contractor, and our trainers are sub-contractors. You decide WHEN you work, WHERE you work, with WHO you work, and HOW you work. As long as you provide the advertised service DANW offers—through ethical, rewards-based training—you get to call the shots.

"I have absolutely loved my time at Dog Adventures Northwest. I feel part of a community, fiercely supported but with the freedom to curate my own experience. It feels like the exact right balance of support and freedom."
Mia Gray, DANW trainer since 2024
We'll get the clients, onboard them, and keep them happy.
Let us deal with client agreements, waivers, CRM incorporation, client communication, system scheduling, client invoicing. client billing, tech tools management, automations, etc. We live for Zapier integrations, ActiveCampaign nurture series, Google Analytics, Meta best practices, SEO, and optimizing our CRM. Don't know what those things are? You don't have to, because we do.

"Dog Adventures makes contractors feel seen, heard, and cared for. I feel valued and respected more than any other company I've ever worked with."
Clara Ridabock, DANW trainer since 2020
Welcome, nerds!
We have a stellar community of rewards-based trainers who regularly help one another with problem-solving, support, and continuing education. Our team is at the cutting edge of learning theory and species-specific and breed-specific enrichment. And we've got credentials from highly respected schools and certification councils to prove it.

"As a business owner, and a contractor for other area companies, Dog Adventures Northwest has set the benchmark very high. On a scale of 1-10, I give it 12."
Bobby MacDonald, DANW Trainer since 2021
Make a few bucks. (Or a lotta bucks.)
Our industry often shies away from money talk, putting passion before financial needs. But it is okay to make money. Dog Adventures Northwest offers a base 60% commission for contracted work, +7% for professional certification, +3 for three years with the company, +5% for five years, +5% for advanced certification. Our commission rates are at the very top of other companies in our industry.

"I feel heard, respected, and trusted, and that makes a huge difference. This work has brought so much joy and balance into my life—I honestly can’t recommend it enough."
Julia Reed, DANW trainer since 2023

Get the Deets
If we'd like to move forward, we'll send you more information about contracting with us, including the contract, commission information, background check authorization, and service expectations. Take the time to read through All of The Things.
Schedule a Call
If you'd like to move forward after getting the run-down, you'll get a link to schedule a video call with Kerry. This call is not a job interview! It's a time for both of us to learn more about one another, and assess if a professional relationship feels right on both sides.
Onboard
If everyone wants to move forward, you'll get onboarded into our system. This will include signing a contract, submitting tax forms, getting on our website, activating your profile in our CRM, shoring up liability, getting first aid certified, and MOAR. We'll also work on creating a marketing pawprint in your community so that you can start collecting clients. (Unless you're in Portland because we have a badass waitlist because we're so badass at being badass.)
Trade Secrets and Intellectual Property
