Board & Learn Program

Service Includes...

full-time care with a licensed, bonded, and insured rewards-based dog trainer in a trainer's home
one hour of customized, one-on-one private training
consistent reinforcement of desirable behaviors
consistent force-free, fear-free management of undesirable behavior
one Adventure or socialization outing per day, or Day Camp attendance (trainer specific)
Garmin satellite GPS trackers on every dog, every adventure
private land for adventures EXCLUSIVE to DANW dogs and trainers
meals and medications
ridiculous amounts of fun (and cuddles!)
daily communication with write-up and photos
end-of-visit comprehensive written report
easy in-app communication, billing, and scheduling

Board & Learn dogs must be...

current Dog Adventures Northwest training clients
or have a written recommendation from a force-free trainer
or be under four months of age
screened and approved by Dog Adventures Northwest through a free 30-Minute Evaluation
up-to-date on vaccines and parasite-protected
non-excessive barkers
content to be confined by crate or behind a barrier for daily naptime and overnight sleep, with limited barrier frustration or separation anxiety (except with very young puppies)
content to share toys and low-value treats with other dogs
unable to jump a four-foot chain-link fence
comfortable around other dogs and people (we do not host reactive, aggressive, or anxious pups for our Board & Learn program)
wearing a harness and identification tag (required), microchipped (highly recommended), and medically insured (highly recommended)

8-14 days $ 180 / day
15-21 days $ 165 / day
22-28 days $ 150 / day
29+ days $ 125 / day

LAST DAY

Pick-up before 11am:

Deposit: A 25% deposit is required to reserve Board & Learn dates. This deposit will be fully refunded if service is cancelled six or more weeks before the first date of service, or if the cancellation occurs within three days of the initial request. It is otherwise non-refundable.
